Osmo Nutrition is a small Bay Area-based startup that makes hydration and nutrition products to help athletes of every type feel and perform their best. Their products are designed with peer-reviewed science and made with wholesome, beneficial ingredients to fuel athletes while helping them feel great.
SevenDesign and Osmo Nutrition have been linked in one way or another since the brand's inception, from agency of record to the eventual acquisition of Osmo by SevenDesign CEO, Lee Hutchinson. This lead to a unique position and partnership between the two companies as Osmo became an exciting and creative side venture for SevenDesign. I have been fortunate enough to be heavily involved in Osmo’s evolution and trajectory since the acquisition, serving as the main digital designer for the brand as well as being involved in other projects such as a video shoot with 3-time World Champion Cyclist, Peter Sagan.
Along with the Osmo team, I helped successfully launch two versions of their website, the most recent of which is a huge milestone for the brand. Our goals with the site were to create a more engaging experience for visitors, expand the brand through a unique design language and to focus on quality content to set Osmo apart from competitors in the space. We aimed to strike a balance between a traditional e-commerce storefront and a place for visitors to come for high quality inspiring athlete stories they would want to read. It was also important to communicate that Osmo is for “anyone who sweats” and not just being male cycling centric as other iterations of the brand had been in the past.
